Cold Rolled Coil (CRC)

HR coil further reduced at room temperature — tighter tolerances, smoother surface, higher strength.

Product Overview

Cold rolled coil is produced by cold reducing pickled HR coil, then annealing and temper rolling. It offers a bright, uniform surface with tight thickness tolerance, and is the base for automotive body, appliances and downstream coated products.

Procurement Notes

  • Confirm exact grade, thickness tolerance and coating weight before quotation.
  • Request Mill Test Certificate (MTC) matched to the actual heat number.
  • Clarify packaging (seaworthy, eye-to-sky/eye-to-wall) and inner/outer diameters.
  • Compare suppliers on lead time, port of loading and inspection readiness — not price alone.
